Systemic-Functional Linguistic Analyses: towards a treebank

Some basic questions	When this site is up and running, there will be some basic questions and answers here of the form: what is a treebank? what can I do with it? how do I make one? etc. Plus references to the state of the art in treebank design and practice.
Available tools	The tools that should be considered currently include: KPML, particularly the KPML grammar explorer and coder Mick's coder Micks's RST coder The computational tools developed at the Laboratory for Language-Based Intelligent Systems (LBIS) Micks's grapher Communal Genesys grammar Kay O'Halloran's "Systemics" Macquarie group tools as they become available If there are more, let me know!
First lists of SFL theoretical constructs and their XML schemas	A first cut of some of the schemas being used with KPML are available here and should be used as a basis for further discussion and refinement.
