How to get to the University of Bremen

Arriving by car:
If you are arriving on the motorway A 1, change to motorway A 27 at the
“Bremer Kreuz” (direction Bremen/Bremerhaven). Leave the A 27 at
exit “Universität/Horn-Lehe” and drive towards “Centrum/Universität”.
Turn right at the second crossing (Universitätsallee) and then right again (Enrique-Schmidt-Str.).
You can use either the open-air car park (daily parking fee 70 cts) or the underground
car park in building GW 2 (daily parking fee 1.40 €).
Arriving by train:
Leave the main station on the downtown side (Innenstadt). Taxi and tram are leaving
directly in front of the main station. Taking a taxi to the University of Bremen
(Enrique-Schmidt-Str., building GW 2) costs approx. 10 €. It is cheaper to
travel by tram. Take tram 6 leaving for “Universität” and get off
at either “Universität NW 1” or “Universität/Zentralbereich”.
A short walk across the car park or along the “Boulevard” will take
you to building GW 2.
Arriving by plane:

6 goes directly from the airport to the University. Get off at either “Universität
NW 1” or at “Universität/Zentralbereich”. A short walk across
