 Are you interested in poetry and prose?newleafis a magazine of prose and poetry edited by Simon Makhali and Ian Watson of the Department of English at the University of Bremen. It appears once every semester, is usually about 36 pages long, and currently costs DM 3,00. The magazine contains poems and prose by students and teachers from the English Department at the University of Bremen. It also features works by authors from other Universities, as well as showcasing materials from internationally known poets like James Simmons, Sujata Bhatt and Terry McDonagh. newleaf press also features a line of special editions dedicated to individual authors, and published in small volumes. |
| As well as the copies which are sold in the Bremen area, complementary copies of newleaf are sent to every university English department in Germany, as well as some in Austria and Switzerland and to several of our European partner institutions. |
