How to get to the University of Bremen

Arriving by car:

If you are arriving on the motorway A 1, change to motorway A 27 at the “Bremer Kreuz” (direction Bremen/Bremerhaven). Leave the A 27 at exit “Universität/Horn-Lehe” and drive towards “Centrum/Universität”. Turn right at the second crossing (Universitätsallee) and then right again (Enrique-Schmidt-Str.). You can use either the open-air car park (daily parking fee 60 cts) or the underground car park in building GW 2 (daily parking fee 1.20 €). The conference site SFG is opposite building GW 2.

Arriving by train:

Leave the main station on the downtown side (Innenstadt). Taxi and tram are leaving directly in front of the main station. Taking a taxi to the University of Bremen (Enrique-Schmidt-Str., building SFG) costs approx. 10 €. It is cheaper to travel by tram. Take tram 6 leaving for “Universität” and get off at either “Universität NW 1” or “Universität/Zentralbereich”. A short walk across the car park or along the “Boulevard” will take you to the conference site in building SFG.

Arriving by plane:

Taking a taxi to the University of Bremen costs approx. 18 €. The tram line 6 goes directly from the airport to the University. Get off at either “Universität NW 1” or at “Universität/Zentralbereich”. A short walk across the car park or along the “Boulevard” will take you to the conference site in building SFG.
