Die internet library sub-saharan Africa (ilissAfrica) ist ein Portal, das einen integrierten Zugriff auf wissenschaftlich relevante konventionelle und digitale Informationsressourcen zur Region Afrika südlich der Sahara bietet. Die Informationen, die auf privaten oder institutionellen Webseiten, Datenbanken oder Bibliothekskatalogen verstreut liegen und die man sich mühsam selbst zusammensuchen muss, werden auf dem Portal ilissAfrica für die Recherche zusammengeführt.

Swahili Forum is an international peer reviewed journal for Swahili Studies. Published since 1994 its purpose is to provide a platform for research on all aspects of Swahili language, culture and society, including book reviews pertaining to these topics.

The archive in its current form is a self-standing website. Eventually all the data here will be incorporated into the comprehensive UCLA Digital Library where it will be maintained as a permanent resource for future generations.

Uri Tadmor is a scientific publication by the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology,
Leipzig (2009).
It provides vocabularies
(mini-dictionaries of about 1000-2000 entries) of 41 languages
from around the world, with comprehensive information about the loanword status of each word. It allows users to find
loanwords,
source words and
donor languages
in each of the 41
languages, but also makes it easy to compare loanwords across languages.
